Over sixty-thousand dollars worth of research equipment will be donated by the Chilean government to Trinidad and Tobago tomorrow in an effort to assist the island in reducing seismic risk activities. The monitoring equipment is expected to be used in the central range fault as part of the Trinidad Central Range Fault Observatory. Valued at over ten thousand US dollars, the monitoring equipment will be just another donation in a number of partnerships that have already taken place between the two governments. The ceremony for the donation will take place tomorrow at the Seismic Research Center office in St Augustine at 10:30am.
