Over the last few months I have found this story fascinating. Two contrasts with the liberals need to be made, but first lets consider what Scott Walker did. Walker becomes governor of one of the most liberal states in the union, and outside labor unions create a fake recall in which he won by a higher margin than he won to begin with. Despite outside attempts to stop him, he went to work and implemented the changes he promised in the campaign (imagine that!). Now Wisconsin is in an economic boom, and conservative principles have once again proven most effective. After all the coverage of the recall that was orchestrated by REAL special interest groups (as opposed to the imaginary ones Harry Read keeps seeing), his success has been ignored by the media. He should be the leading candidate for president based solely on his success, but most outside the politically engaged (i.e. informed voters) have a clue what is going on in Wisconsin. Contrast that with the presidents unprecedented control of both houses of congress and the ability to pass any legislation he desired following his inauguration. After two years of control, the economy showed zero signs of improvement, and every program passed in those two years failed, or at best marginally succeeded in spite of themselves. Yet even though he lost the house because of his failure, the presidents popularity remained; largely due to the continual fawning of media sycophants. And after FIVE YEARS, the White House is still blaming GHB. Gov. Walker succeeded by applying Reaganomics to his state, Pres. Obama failed miserably by applying Marxist economics to the nation. Not a single news outlet I have seen has made this stark and clear contrast. Second, the governor and mayor of New York-state and city respectively-are tax and spend liberals. Florida is full of NY natives who fled to the south to avoid the draconian confiscation of wealth that these great progressive leaders demand. But hold on: New York is currently running a nationwide campaign trying to entice businesses to move to New York by offering-are you ready for this?- SCOTT WALKER STYLE TAX BREAKS!!!! Both campaigned against tax cuts and for tax increases, but reality as sunk in, and they are desperate to gain some positive spin. In the process, they have proven that they are political opportunists who lack core values and convictions and will do whatever it takes to maintain power no matter who it hurts. And like the Walker success story, the main stream media is ignoring this double-minded hypocrisy by the liberal elites. Please, PLEASE, this fall when you vote, get your emotions and opinions out of the way and vote for someone who has a PROVEN record of success.
