Over the past 13+ years, our friendship has seen a lot of loss, heartache, failed relationships, mistakes, dysfunction, letting each other go & finding each other again. Weve survived a deployment to Iraq & distance during my college years. Hes seen me at ugliest, worst & crippled with bouts of anxiety. Ive seen him at his worst & ugliest as well. We know each others deepest, darkest secrets & all of our flaws. But at the end of the day - weve always loved unconditionally, supported & been there for each other to pick up the pieces. A friendship like that is rare & Im lucky to have that. I believe that if youre with your significant other long enough then you become best friends. But its not too often that you start off with that. So, I guess after all this time, it only makes sense. Love you Jaim. Thanks for being everything you are to me.
