Over the past 150 years, the Earths magnetic field has weakened over 15% since the Carrington event. As a result, the amount of cosmic and solar rays finding their way to Earth has increased significantly causing the Earths core to overheat thereby escalating convection. As a natural consequence of this process, mantle plumes are created or activated to moderate over heating as Earth seeks its ambient temperature. Outcomes of this natural process come in the way of increased earthquakes, volcanoes and extreme weather events. We can expect this pattern to parallel the declination of the magnetic field for the next 100-200 years. To get an idea of what can be expected over the next 50 years which may bring magnetic north close to the equator (but not yet reversal), is to explore what is known as the South Atlantic Anomaly (SAA). Over this region off the coast of Brazil, the magnetic field is an additional 15% weaker than the rest of Earth measuring a 30% decrease over the last 150 years. The radiation from cosmic rays are currently so damaging to electronics and humans, the FAA has ordered this area a no fly zone. NASA, ESA and other space agencies do not allow satellites to fly over this zone with few exceptions. With those exceptions, the lifetime of satellites or spacecraft are diminished by 50% to 70%. by Mitch Battros-Earth Changes Media
