Over the past 3 years I have had the opportunity to see much of this world, and train and operate in some of the most challenging environments on the planet. Last year I went from the jungles of Sri Lanka (hot 105 degrees and damp) to the desert of Oman (hot 110 degrees and dry) to the glaciers of Norway (cold -10 and wet) back to back to back without the ability to acclimatize. One thing I am learning about survival is something you wont read in a lot of cut and paste survival manuals that are out there is that unless you push beyond the rules and guidelines you will never really find out what you are capable of. Like the rule that you can only go 3 days without water. That is complete BS. SOOOO many factors come into play with that statement. I personally know someone that has gone 9 days without water and survived. The point I am trying to make is this. Get to know your body and what it is capable of doing and not capable of doing. Dont wait to find out you cant go 2 days without food before you start to get stomach cramps and takes you out of the game. If you are a survival minded person TRAIN LIKE YOUR GOING TO FIGHT. Do it safely and responsibly. :-)
