Over the past few days, Ive discovered that this competition is not so much for winning, especially when all participants are already winners in my eyes. It is also not for the prize money, because the work continues regardless -- God is looking out with all of His heart for the broken (this is true even if I fail). Ive discovered that competitions reveal to us that there are people who are truly for us -- the ones who will go great lengths for either a cause they believe in or simply because they support you as a person and want you to win (not just a competition), but in life. Im guessing that this is the same for lifes marathon. Why do we keep running to the ending point? Not for the sake of emerging first, but that we may be grateful to discover that there are many who are rooting for us to win. To know that although we each have to run our race by ourselves, we are not alone.
