Over the past few days there has been a viral article floating around on the web attacking a lot of people involved in the Heroes of Cosplay TV show. My picture is associated with it. There are also some seriously false accusations and attacks to me personally in the article. I couldnt agree more with Jessica Merizan. I stand behind everyone on the crew and cast for the show. Its hard work putting the show together for everyone involved. Countless hours have gone in to this. Attacking the integrity of judges and folks not involved in the show by claiming contests are rigged will not be tolerated by us. The audacity in thinking I would accept an award from a rigged contest, clearly you have no idea who I am. Its a very difficult task to remain positive and supportive of a community so ready to jump behind an article and slit your throat with no questions asked. I have gotten a huge outpour of how dare you and Im so disappointed attacks. With only a handful of people actually asking for the truth in the article. For our faithful fans, I salute you. Thank you a for your love and support. You make what we do worth it and give us the strength to continue on. Bottom line, its a damn TV show. To the writer of the article; You can jockey behind your keyboard and complain about everything. I encourage you to grow, learn from your horrible experience and actually do something about it. You think you can do it better, step up and do so. There are those of us who crumble to the obstacles in our path of life. Then there are those of us who rise to meet the challenge and grow. Please do not assume your struggles are worse than the next person. I do not make excuses for all the bad things that have happened in my life, I move on and move up. I encourage you to do the same. Its easy to tear a person down, it takes strength to build a person up. If you need me, Ill be in the shop. Building, creating, learning new ways to bring better props and fun to the world. I have costumes to create, cons to visit, and dreams to help make into realities. This is the last I will address these ridiculous articles.
