Over the past few months I have spoken to a few new people in the horse industry. Most of these conversations have been amazing, hilarious and uplifting, but sadly there are a few that have decided to dip their feet in waters that are not only new to them, but challenging- only to be spoken about behind their backs by some of the Top Breeders and those who think they are. Please remember, we were all new in this industry at one time and unsure of things. We can only do what we can at that time and when trust is broken by a few callous and unwarranted words, remember when that new person was you. Yes, the horse industry is tough right now, but nastiness and put downs is not going to make it any better or attract people to your stallion. Also remember, people who are renting a property and breeding horses, doesnt mean that they are lesser than you- it means they are trying to get somewhere in life or some may have actually owned a home in the past and sold it for very personal reasons and are starting again- even against the odds that are stacked against them. Please, just watch your words, some people are fragile and not tough skinned and deserve to be treated with respect. Have a great day all :)
