Over the past two weeks, our family has moved back to central Florida. If there is one thing I have learned in this process, it is that progress doesnt always look like progress. Sometimes progress takes the shape of a bare home. Sometimes it looks like a crazy packed truck with your dogs crammed inside. Sometimes it looks like piles of stuff you are letting go of and it requires you to put many things in your life on hold, things that are important to you. Sometimes, it appears as neatly packed boxes piled up in one location and you think to yourself, Hey, this isnt so bad. Ill be done in no time. And then… progress can look like an explosion where so many things are out of place that you feel so overwhelmed you are certain youll never, ever get to where you want to be. I dont know if you are experiencing a similar change of life right now... a season where you are moving out of your comfort zone to something new. All I can say is be patient, persevere, and keep the faith. Take it one day and one box at time. Dont look at the mess, rather, focus on the goal. Keep your vision right in front of you at all times, rely on the strength of the Lord, and keep on keeping on.
