Over the summer, my kids and I ran for our lives waaay too many times while the sirens wailed and the rockets ripped through the sky. (You all were there with me, while we hid in the shelter, and while we waited for our next mad dash over hard, dry earth.) But through it all - through the roaring sirens, through the rattling walls, and through the pitiless fear, I thought about #IronDome, an air defense system that takes down rockets and mortars before they can take down US. We made it through that long, scary summer -- thanks to our sirens, thanks to our shelters, and thanks to Iron Dome... And on February 15, 2015 at the #TOIGala, I cannot wait to shake the hand of Dr. Danny Gold, the hero behind Iron Dome, and say thank you. toigala/
