Over the weekend, I listened keenly to @Baba Buntu. Our partners are our first allies in the struggle. We need spaces where we can be vulnerable. Where we can cry. Yell. And not be judged. YES! I admire Babas humility, the little I have experienced. And the courage. Born to Caribbean parents (from Anguilla) in Oslo, Norway, Baba decided to match his convictions with actions and migrated to South Africa thirteen years(?) ago. BOLD! And the rest. This weekend too, I thought about the loyatly, the humanness and support I have received from my brother Jimmy Odoki Acellam. I have not seen a human being as humble, honest and modest as Jimmy. I know I am a hard friend, a hard brother - hard to befriend. But I know there is a model. That model is Jimmy, who I met in 2011, when he opened doors to his family, a model family as well. Let no one tell you lies, there are good people on earth. I want to be as humble, as honest, as modest as Jimmy. I cant say thank you enough to Jimmy for being in my life. My brother Jimmy.
