Over the years (15 years to date) students whom i have taught on several courses particularly PLP 2012 (Dip.) PLP 3104, PLP 3105, Special Topics and Assignments have came up with some excellent reports on various issues on urban pest management, public perceptions on transmissible zoonotic diseases, public perceptions of pets, strays, ferals and wildlife in residency areas. These are valuable information because they were extracted from the streets, observations in the field, quantitative data from questionaires and those furnished by the relevant authorities. The information collated also helps in the updating of lecture materials of certain topics and issues. The source of each information will be properly acknowledged with the names of students mentioned. For posterity, i have decided to bind them in hard cover to be kept as a permanent reference in the lab of vertebrate ecology at the Dept of Plant protection, Fac of Agriculture, UPM. Many of these documentations carried specific reports for eg. Crow management in the Klang Area (2003) by Sariah Aris; Dengue and Aedes Managent in the Hulu Langat area (2010-2014) by Suhir Sulaiman, Nurul Najwa Che Roslan and Nabila Huda Bunyamin. Another academic exercise that will go down as permanent records and knowledge that will continue to benefit the ummah in ways you may not imagine they would.
