Over the years, I have often wondered if I was missing out on things by not being able to have children. As I sit here tonight, winding down after a full day, I am smiling ear to ear. Watching the lil girl I call "Belly", shop til she dropped and splash around in the pool just being a happy kid. The sounds of unrecognizable bands and teenage gossip spilling out of the Rock Room, properly inhabited tonight by my sweet and sassy Lil Moon Pie and her fabulous sidekick, Kyra. I realize, that I have missed out on nothing besides the actual act of childbirth. I am the favorite Auntie on all sides of the family and I have been given so much joy by these kids, my nephews and nieces. They are my heart and my world. And I love every minute I get with them. Tony Weber, Kassandra Marks, Carter Libis, Natasha Marks, and Zoe and Rayne Libis. And of course, our Daniel Weber...Miss you Dan. Counting my blessings...all 7 of them. ♥
