Over the years I have suggested my friends who are afraid of global warming (climate change) to read some books I had read that date back to the 1950s by Immanuel Velokovsky; Worlds In Collision, Earth in Upheaval and Ages in Chaos. His research determined way back then that climate change was an inevitable cycle of life on earth (and probably other planets) and that he showed physical proof there had been several previous ice ages AND changes in the earths magnetosphere, which in turn impacts our atmosphere and weather. Tonight on the History Channel was a 2 hour special on Vile Vortices, the earths magnetospheres and how it is THIS not human intervention that is changing the earths weather patterns, an inevitable change we cannot control, change, interrupt or impact. Fascinating stuff... Then the cycles starts all over again.. GO Velokovsky!!!! You Alaskans ( Kathleen Metcalfe ) may find his one book especially fascinating, Earth in Upheaval, the first of his books I read and Ive read them all several times. The opening line in Earth is In the Far North, In Alaska.... He had me Hooked right there.. but then goes on to discuss and explain the vast numbers of deceased mammoths, bison and other now extinct animals and how we find them in mass graves... Its coming again..... Fear not...
