Over the years, the ones who radiated for me the Sacred and the Divine were not religious fanatics or religious observers or ritual practioners or great religious thinkers or members of an “in group” but rather persons who really and truly in the secret of their hearts have God as their soul friend, an intimate friend who kept their balance and stability in the storms and crises of life and reflected back to them the state of their soul. To use the words of a hymn “trials may come and friends they may go, what really matters is You ,my Lord”
