Over the years weve seen a lot of our SISP students and friends - TopicsExpress

Over the years weve seen a lot of our SISP students and friends leave for the UAE, mostly under strong pressure of their relatives.... Their families put all their money together to arrange a passport, visa and some money for travel expenses for the choosen one. Once in the UAE most of them will get an underpaid, inhuman job and have to reside in less than basic conditions. With an average salary of 15.000rs (200€) per month it takes the choosen one about 2 years to pay back the debts his/her family made to make his/her dream happen and go and find fortune abroad to escape poverty. The choosen one doesnt dare to complain, because he/she sees no way out (often his/her passport gets confiscated by the employer, to prevent any escape attempts). The family is praying for the choosen one to send financial fortune back, so the choosen one doesnt want to let them down and is too proud to reveil the real face of an immigrants life in the UAE. And so the cyclus continues... We, at SISP, try to educate our students and their families so gradually they can decide for themselves that theres another way to escape poverty... sisp.in kovalamsurfclub
