Over training: Body for life tip # 44 When you start your journey working out with weights, TRX, kettle bells , battle ropes etc. depending on your fitness level you should not be training more then 3-days in a row. Believe it or not... Rest is the hardest thing for most people to do. They believe that more is better... However in this game. Too much is not a good thing and could even halt or reverse any gains made. Some signs of over training are: muscle loss, fatigue, upset stomach, headaches, body aches, lower stomach fat, etc. The best weight bearing program is 3 days on, 1 day off, or a 2 day on 1 off, 3 on, 2 off. In other words big muscle groups like your back and legs require 72 hours between workouts. So, if you looking for gains... Dont forget that you have to lift with proper form, eat right, drink plenty if water, and the number 1 thing to do...rest!!! Your body doesnt build muscles while you are training. Its the recovery period where gains are made.
