Overall Jack had a better day yesterday while being vented as much as possible. Then night time came. He has his usual grunting and crying around 8:15pm and it lasted until 9. We started his continuos feed and he fell asleep on his side...then we woke up a half hour later very unhappy! Was up until 11:30. Poor buddy cried and cried. So daytime better nighttime the same a little worse than usual. There were talks of us getting home today but now Im not so sure. There was that weird something showing up on his x-ray from the shunt series and it looked as if it was in his rectum. So we got another X-ray to his belly to see if that object on the xray was still there and guess what???? IT IS!!!! The x-ray techs told me it looks like it moved down a bit and it changed shape. The doctors predicted it wouldnt be there and that it was just a flaw in the film or something on the table but Nope! Its still there! Ugh. Its there and we arent sure what it is yet! They wanted to send us home and now Im not so sure... Jacks got one of his favorite nurses today...she came in with her iPhone this morning and said that everyone needs a little Taylor Swift in their life. Jack certainly did and he was dancing to the music and smiling.
