Overcoming our Past part 5 (Getting past the Resentment) Moving On To Purpose Good Morning my FB friends Thank you again for joining us today and the many who have come on board to embark upon these enrich teachings. It takes courage to be able to face your past head on and rip apart the very issue that has been holding you back. One thing about getting past the resentment is first being able to acknowledge it and be able to identify its attacks upon your life. It’s very hard to counter attack an issue if we don’t know what we really fighting against. So I need you to be able to just set down and begin writing the very things that has emotional injured you. By writing it down you are recognizing the entity and you have now admit that there is some resentment in your life. Beloveth, sometimes many people walk around in denial or they feel like this is just a way of life. But I’m here to encourage you that this is not the life that our heavenly Father wants you to live. To hold on to unforgiveness and to enrage in resentment will cause you to treat others at a distance and mishandle the good with the bad. That mean you will miss out on good relationships with people because of the excess baggage of the past. So now as we move forward it’s time to lock and load, it’s time to get ready to rumble and fight for our victory to overcome our past emotional hurts. You need to find peace with the fact that you cannot change the past and that you cannot control the actions of others. You must realize that resentments serve no purpose but to hurt you and hold you back, and feeling resentment does nothing but allow the person who hurt you to continue interfering with your life. There are a few areas I want to touch on to help move you in the best direction for a wonderful and great recovery. We have already talked about the effects of resentments and its ability to hold you back. Also about doing the exercise of writing it down to be able to identify the area that has caused you the pain. As one unknown author has said; “Not forgiving someone is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. “ And I agree with this saying, we can’t keep on holding on to these feelings that is only hurting ourselves and not affecting the one who has done this to you. We must understand the art of forgiveness and realize that God have not forgotten you. Now you may say how is that Brother Percy? You don’t understand the hurt I been through, and beloveth you are right but one thing I do know that you have not been reading these devotions by chance. God has preordain this moment to take place in your life to help you overcoming the emotional hurt you been dealing with. He has set you up for a breakthrough and has heard your emotional cries and felt your emotional pains. Beloveth you have never been alone in this journey of life, The God of protection and comfort has always been there keeping you from self-destruction because He knows the time is coming for your breakthrough. And through your deliverance you will be able to help others to learn how to step away from the past. Wow! Praise to the Lamb of God that has given us the victory and continue to love us each and every day. Beloveth you have been design with greatness and the enemy don’t want you to understand your calling in this life. He wants to keep you focus on misery and not your blessings that you receive from the Father that keep you from week to week. Beloveth in all that we have been through or maybe still going through I believe without a shadow of doubt that we are coming out in a great way and healing is resting upon you right now. I’m praying that everyone that read these devotional teachings will receive a quicken power of hope and that your faith will be stirred up to move forward and know that you are being delivered. Beloveth, we’re not finish with this yet, come on back this weekend so we can discuss more on overcoming our resentment, I still have a few more steps to add to this devotion. May God bless you on today and don’t want until your battle is over, go ahead and give God the praise right now. Have faith and shout the victory! Beloveth, you have just been empowered; now go forth and conquer your day! Percy L Craine Making A Difference
