Overhaul 2014 is over. Melanie worked like a dog 16 hour days most of 20 days to get us the heck back in the water. Special thanks to Bob Doyno and Kenny Plourde for countless hours sanding the bottom, Heavy Metal Weldings Tres and Mike for welding on the new keel coolers, Eric Gladding from Gladding Marine Services for driveline work, Bubba from Marks Marine Diesel for miscellaneous welding, Gorden from R & R Diesel for replacing the seals on the Starboard gearbox, Frank and Jimmies Propeller service for making the Starboard propeller look new, and Lt. Stephanie Robinette for performing our inspection, although Id like to get my certificate, if you dont mind. Melanie, Kenny, and Mako put the paint on the bottom, because, as I said, I dont paint below the chine. I consider this year a success.
