Overhead ball throw. This is a great POWER exercise. That means the weight(object) should be lighter, so the focus can be on the speed of the movement. 1. Extend ball as high above your head as you can, while preventing your lower back from arching. 2. Throw the ball at the wall as hard as you can. Try and get this movement to be initiated by snapping the hips back. This is more about good hip movement and tight abs, than using your upper body to throw. Be sure to exhale on the throw too, DO NOT hold your breath. Dont have a med ball? Find an inanimate object, preferable one that does not bounce, and slam it directly into the ground outside instead. A medium sized rock will do just fine. Give it a try, let me know what you think!
