Overheard while at the boarding line at Kansai International Airport: Pinoy Passenger: Why wont you let us board? Japanese Gate Agent: Maam, we are only boarding rows 20-31 as of now. Youre seated at row 11. PP: Jesus H Christ, why cant just let us board? JGA: Please step aside, we havent called you. PP: Mumbles and steps aside. Moral of the story - It is in the best interest of all to follow what the gate agent calls out rather than be asked to step aside. After all, you will get to board the plane. The airline staff is just trying to make boarding more systematic so as not to further delay the departure and inconvenience passengers as a whole. Simple things and some pinoys dont even want to follow. What more with bigger procedures, rules, etc. Sigh. Post travel brainfart. Back to work....
