Overlaying Emerson Hemendes fastest lap this weekend (~1:37, 3rd session) against mines (~1:40, 1st session). Compared to me, he: - Carries more speed into T1. His lower speed through T1 is 82 MPH, mine is 72 MPH. He also turns in earlier. - Does not brake or lift entering T2 (I tap the brakes briefly). He enters at 97 MPH and scrubs off speed by turning, I enter at 86 MPH. Mid corner, our speeds are similar, between 86-88 MPH. - Brakes harder and later for T3, going 5-8MPH faster in the uphill section. - Brakes earlier and turns in earlier for T5 (the offcamber turn). His minimum speed through T5 is 67MPH, 8MPH faster than me. - Stays in 5th gear through T8 and T9, whereas I downshift into 4th for T9. Emerson also applies less braking entering T9. - We exit T9 at similar speeds (92-94 MPH), but mid corner, Emerson is going 5-7MPH faster. - Does lots of steering corrections through T2 and T9. My steering is smoother, but lazier. Exiting corners, he always has his steering wheel straightened before me. - Overall, hes always earlier on the gas mid corner. ~2 seconds faster than me before braking for T3!! ~1 second faster between T3 and T8 ~0.5 seconds faster between T9 and start/finish
