Overlooked Pages On Your Site: Episode 3 Marketing Press TV People are coming to your site for many reasons. Most of the time they are coming to your site to read your content, learn more about your business, and see what your clients say about your services. Its important to have pages on your site that give these people what they are seeking. The About Page Making sure your about page answers the questions: Who You Are, What You Do and How You Can Help is the most basic foundation of any content strategy -- but dont stop there. Transcript: Today, I wanted to talk quickly about a couple of overlooked pages on your website and how you can help let people know more about your company. Hey, its Greg Taylor from MarketingPress. Today, I want to talk about a couple of overlooked pages on your website and how you can let people easily know more about your company. Everybody thinks that having a dialed-in about page is the number one way to let people know about your company, and I agree with them, but another way to do things is you can also have a great meet the team page. Your company is made up of people, not just the products and services and what you sell. So if you let your world and, you know, your clients know whos behind the product, whos behind the service that they are receiving, and they are about to purchase, its a great way to get everybody warmed up. So that when theyre talking to Peter on the phone and they read Peters bio on the site and they know that Peter is an avid football fan, you know, that may just spark a conversation. That may make some sort of a connection between the two and then just kind of, you know, begin the relationship report. I love having great team pages on a site. Another great way to do things is dont be afraid to ask clients for testimonials. You know, there is no better way to let people know how great you are than to let other people tell them. So, ask clients for testimonials. Now have them write them, have them post it to the site. You know, you can either automate this a little bit with Gravity Forms and you can have some user-generated content so that you can have people just post the testimonials right to the site, you approve it and then it goes right to your site. So, in closing, just think about, you know, your company as a brand and think about your company as a group of people trying to solve other peoples problems, other clients problems, and once you can do that, we can make a connection and then the business relationship really starts.
