Overnight Shootings Under Investigation Our Guns and Gangs Unit is busy again investigating three separate shooting incidents that occurred overnight. Yesterday at approximately 6:30 p.m. we received multiple reports of gunshots fired in the 100 block of Rundleridge Way N.E. An unoccupied house in the area had been hit by a stray bullet. At approximately 8:30 p.m., a resident in the 300 block of Taravista Drive N.E., called to report that one or more bullets had entered his apartment. Upon further investigation, it was determined that two unoccupied units had also been hit, one of which contained a quantity of marijuana. Investigators are working to determine what the intended target was. At approximately 12:55 a.m. this morning, we were called to a residence in the 200 block of Rundleside Crescent N.E., for a report of at least one shot fired into a home. It is believed this home was the intended target. No one was injured in any of these incidents. It is believed this violence resulted from conflict between people who are known to one another. No charges have been laid at this time.
