Overnight, mostly to prevent poachers rather than the animals escaping, electric fences with alarms are turned on. The animals have never set them off, not once. So you can only imagine my horror when at 3am Im woken by the screeching alarm and the sound of elephant trumpeting. Forgetting the need for clothing beyond my bra and knickers and grabbing the shotgun from behind the door I darted out ready to shoot some poaching Cunts. But alas, I was not faced with gun wielding evil Bastard, but bell wielding cattle attempting to escape the wrath of the angry elephant they had unknowingly wandered in on. Probably the funniest moment of my life until I realised I was standing in my underwear wielding a shot gun in the centre of the emergency flood lights. Next time I wont bother.
