Overnight our Charity shop was broken into....a horrible shock. The till and drawers strewn around the place, They have stolen our money, the raffle money that pays for the dogs to have a special xmas dinner each year, even the girls at the shops tea money. A war medal....donated by someone who wanted it to raise funds for the needy dogs [I cant print what I think about that] and A tree from our beautiful christmas room! You have broken us today [but only a bit] The girls have done what they do! Had a strong cup of tea, dusted themselves down, took stock and now the police have been and gone, and the CCTV has been sorted, WE ARE OPENING! We are so proud of our shop and the volunteers who give up their time, so it is a sad day but we wont be beaten. Tomorrow we open 9.30 -2.30 and then AGAIN between 5-7pm for the xmas tree light switch on...Thanks to everyone who supports us..x
