Overseas Employment effecting economic growth in Bhutan: Dear readers: I am really worried that our governments idea of sending oversea employment is one more factor effecting the economic growth in our country. Now in Thimphu, many business people says that there is decrease in customer and income. Some are planning to close their shops and go for oversea jobs. Few are staying to clear old stocks to close their shops. I think due to oversea employment following are the effects: 1. Income generation is decrease due to decrease in customer. 2. unemployment will be increasing due to closing of some of private business. 3. foreseeable to decrease in population further due to late marriage and reproduction. I think there could be many other shortfalls coming soon due to oversea employment. I sincerely request the government and bureaucratic to deeply study and analysis on it to overcome the economic crises and unemployment problem in long term rather then a short term. Sonam Tashi
