Overtraining on cardiovascular exercise can cut into your recovery time. While doing intervals, I have found backing off on the intensity of the intervals to have had a positive effect on my overall body composition, strength, and energy level. It is easy to get obsessive about training. I thought I had already learned that; and I have in strength training. I was taking my pulse higher than I needed. Since I have backed off, I enjoy the workouts much more, and the positive changes that I already mentioned. Blessings, Dick
