Overview Today into Friday... Increasing severe weather threats this afternoon and evening ahead of a strong upper trough and cold front. All of the region is included in a slight to moderate risk. Timing for Winn Parish looks to be anywhere from 7pm to about 1am on Friday. Outlook is for hail, high winds and severe thunderstorms for Winn Parish. Should all be moved out by noon on Friday. Weekend... Unsettled pattern will resume on Saturday as the frontal boundary will shift back northward with showers/isolated thunderstorms by late Saturday into Sunday ahead of the next cold front. Monday through Wednesday... Cold front will clear the region on Monday with another short wave trough bringing additional rain chances on Tuesday. Looks like we may see a repeat of last week for severe weather. Hope we do not see all of the trees down and power outages again.
