Overwhelmed. Not by the work, hours of preparation or the anxiety of opening a bar. Overwhelmed by all the support from family, friends and strangers. Theres no way this bar could have been pulled together without the help of many. And Im eternally grateful for the guidance and vision from Kevin Westendorf. On a very tight budget, this guy did everything from a complete plumbing job, lifting a juke box, carpentry and restoring appliances, to web design, business cards and promotions. Hes a human Swiss Army Knife. Anyway, the bar is open, theres no leaks (keep those fingers crossed) and Im lucky to have assembled some of brightest and friendliest staff around. Cheers!
