Overwhelmed by this. The Gaza humanitarian aid fundraiser last night; Healing the wounds of Gaza got £250,000 in donation and pledges, yes you read right, a quarter of a million pounds and still climbing!!! The people of Yorkshire especially Bradford and its suburbs are tremendously kind hearted and giving people. All this was achievable due to the dedication, patience, and devotion of our wonderful volunteers Mehroonnisa Patel Romana Mughal Shamriz Hussain Khawer Ashfaq Aisha Ismail Naznin Mirza Ateka Khan Sister Lizzie Sara Ewing A huge thank you to My Lahore Bradford for the generous donation of delicious food and Misspennys Bargins Bradford for their kind donation of Palestine memorabilia. We will be buying 5 ambulances for Gaza and many more medical supplies with the funds raised.
