Owensville Fire Chief Curtis Aytes shot this video at 2:35 p.m. Saturday from Station No. 1 as an apparent funnel cloud forms a tail east of town. Gasconade County E-911 received a report of a brief touchdown of a tornado in a field near Highway east of Owensville near Soap Creek. Debris was seen going airborne at the sighting, according to Assistant Chief Kris Bayless who met with a county deputy and a Rosebud policeman in Rosebud. Warning sirens were sounded in Rosebud. No additional sightings were reported.
