Oy Ive got a really annoying church next door to my home. Its a medium sized Methodist church with 2 problems for us, who live in a small house. Their air conditioners are located in the back of their building, facing our house. I think they were made by Harley-Davidson, theyre so loud. All night long too, and I think it must be like an icebox in there. 2nd, their parking lot lights keep our house lit up like the sun, all night long. Between those 2 things, its sometimes difficult to sleep at night. Ive already griped to them once about the noise made by the carpet cleaners they had working there from 10pm-midnight a few weeks ago. That inspired a visit to me from the pastor, who seemed like a real nice guy. We got to talking about Austin and live music, and not religion. Then a few days later, I found out that he took this info to my father in law - who isnt even a member of that church! lol So I have to be delicate with these saved folks in this tiny little town. I would plant some big bushes between us and the AC units and the lights, but thats not in my budget. Suggestions? I do want to keep a friendly face on my side, all around. :o)
