Oy! What a day! $56 for subs, snacks, and sunscreen. $35 for gas in the boat. Our great day of boating was limited to an hour long outing due to an incoming storm. As we left the dock the water turned calm as could be (insert shaking head). Dressed in swimsuits, a bag still full of snacks, and 4 four kiddos still anxious to swim we headed to East Harbor. Upon leaving the Excursion broke down (again and turns it turns out the problem was not a relay), but thankfully we coasted both the truck and trailer/boat into a parking lot. Uncle Jerry came to the rescue with our Flex to take the boys, the boat, and I home. A tow truck charge later (very reasonable might I add...local peeps give Bill uptown a call when needed!) and Eric and the Excursion was back home. Our day ended with a trip to Barnside Creamery for not only us, but delivered some cool treats to those who helped us out today as well. Now to shower the sand off of us and call it a night. Happy Monday?!?!
