Oyster behind the scenes....ever wonder what it looks like underwater? My daughter and I brought three of our clusters home to observe ....the small waving things are the tongues of barnacles. They emerge from the holes and like a net, wave around blindly in the water just hoping to get something. They also filter water but they just arent as efficient as ousters. If you watch the middle of the cluster closely (where it looks like a black line) you will see one of the juvenile oysters on our cluster move. Its a 26 sec clip, the background noise is the Air machine. Very cool!
