Ozil injury shows there is a big problem at Arsenal. There definitely is. Before his arrival at Arsenal, Ozil had been injured a total of 66 days in his career and was never injured at Real Madrid despite playing up-to as much as 50 games a season under Jose Mourinho. He has arrived at Arsenal and beaten all those days in just two seasons and his latest 12 week injury puzzles me just like the next Arsenal fan. What is going on at the club? Thus far, there are six starting players who are out through injury and let me not add to those that are further down the pecking order. And this being the second month of the season, there is definitely a problem at the club that needs to be addressed. It is no longer about luck but there really is an issue that needs to be looked at and solved. Is it the training regime? Is it the nutrition? Or is it the fitness and warm down sessions? The manager and club really has to address this issue because it is now puzzling. Thing is, it costs points and at the end of the day the club does not perform. Would Arsenal have been better off versus Chelsea with Ramsey, Arteta, Walcott, Debuchy and Giroud available? You bet they would. Issue has to be adressed. Soon.
