P.Mantovana signs Johndre Jefferson - Aug 29, 2013 POSTED BY: EUROBASKET NEWS follow us on Pallacanestro Mantovana (Lega Due Silver) signed 25-year old American power forward Johndre Jefferson (207-102kg-88, college: S.Carolina, agency: Three Eye Sports). He played this summer at Salem Sabres (IBL) in the U.S.. In 7 games he had 3.4ppg and 4.1rpg. The most of last season Jefferson spent at Elitzur Ramla (National League) in Israel. In 25 games he recorded very impressive stats: 17.0ppg, 13.9rpg (leader !!!), 1.3apg, 1.1spg and 2.9bpg. Great season as he was voted Eurobasket All-Israeli National League Defensive Player of the Year. He also played at Maccabi Kiryat Gat (National League) in Israeli league that season. In 5 games he recorded also remarkable stats: 15.6ppg, 10.2rpg (leader !!!) and 2.4bpg. The previous (11-12) season Jefferson played at Iskra Svit (Extraliga) in Slovakian league. In 19 games he recorded 11.5ppg, 8.3rpg (#4 in the league) and 3.1bpg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted Eurobasket All-Slovakian League Defensive Player of the Year, named to All-Imports Team and named to 2nd Team. Jefferson has played also professionally in APBL (Beltway Bombers). He attended University of South Carolina until 2011 and it will be his third season as a professional player.
