P2 Movie Review: 7/10 Streamlined and simplistic this is an absolute B movie through and through that although it does have its problems it is able to create enough tension, thrills and gruesome chills to be an effective and successful experience. First off the movie is very well executed with solid directing, a claustrophobic atmosphere and good realistic believability you are able to embrace the story without having to make huge leaps of logic and feel frustrated. As well the two lead performances are engaging and nicely done with Wes Bentley being both wonderfully creepy and comedic and Rachael Nichols as a strong and relatable heroine who is fun to root for. Also the movie has a good brutal mentality that is able to be shocking and keep the level of suspense at the right high level. Now of course this movie isnt flawless and has its problems which mainly are that its dialogue can at times leave something to be desired but this movie isnt trying to be perfect and instead just wants to get in and get out while giving you an exciting, thrilling and engaging experience and on that level it is a really nice success.
