P403 MILLION ALLOTTED BY LIGHT RAIL TRANSIT AUTHORITY FOR RELOCATION OF INFORMAL SETTLERS The Light Rail Transit Authority allotted P403 million for the relocation of informal settlers, who will be displaced by the P65-billion LRT 1 Cavite extension project. LRTA said it will bid out the contract for the relocation housing units and amenities for informal settlers. It is set to hold a pre-bid conference on January 9. Investors have until February 11 to submit their bids. Back in October, the DOTC awarded the project to Metro Pacific-Ayala group.
