P90X3 Day 30: Triometrics; Good workout. Lots of focus on lower body. Could have used more warm up, thank God for the thorough cool down stretching. I didnt feel performance was to the best of my physical ability, I believe that it was likely due to accumulated levels of mental stress that I brought with me into the workout. A prior short meditation session probably would have proved beneficial today. Refueling on chcken, rice and vegetable stir fry leftover from last nights dinner. My arms are pretty sore from yesterday but Im counting it a win! It feels like the mental challenge of making the workouts happen each day is fading away quickly and becoming more just a habit of doing... like Im not contemplating it so much. Rather I just know its there and I do it. How I feel or whatever else might be going on that day doesnt seem to be a big contributing factor to whether or not it gets done...atleast not to the extent that seems so apparent in the first weeks of start up. I would definitely recommend others to try to consider the first 2 to 3 weeks of a new program/routine/habit/goal as an adjustment period because it does get easier and easier to follow through as long as you remain diligent and allow yourself to move forward despite any failures that might occur along the way.
