I do not know how familiar Prez Jonathan is with the provisions of our constitution.Sc 171(6)CFRN,1999(as ammended) provides that the appointment of all those on the personal staff of the prez ceases whn the president ceases to hold office.So wht becomes of Pa Akinkumis appointmnt if he outlives Jonathans presidency? Mr Prez clearly lacks the power to foist his personal staff on his successor.And unless he is scheming to be president- for-life,Pa Akinkumis appointment cannot outlive Jonathans presidency.
