PARISH OUTREACH ALL PROGRAMS ARE ON-GOING SAMARITAN WORKS and NEW CHOICES in Sidney are organizations that are working to help those afflicted with substance abuse and domestic violence. Please support them by donating sheets, pillowcases, blankets, towels, washcloths and dishtowels. Donated items can be put in the red or blue bins in the connector during the month of February. See insert. SOUP KITCHEN - The Holy Angels Soup Kitchen has been serving about 80 meals each day. Needs include: divided take-out trays, plastic spoons and forks, paper dessert plates and instant rice. The Soup Kitchen basket has been moved to the connector. Please take your items there. FAIR TRADE - next sale is February 14 and 15. Soup mixes and chocolate will be featured. Coffee samples with chocolate overtones will be available for taste test. Your purchases make a difference for the farmers. ON-GOING MINISTRIES LITTLE DRESSES - Sew simple little dresses for needy girls in warm climates. Call Judy at 492-4364. PROJECT LINUS - Great winter project to make security blankets for traumatized children. We need donations of fleece, minimum 40 x 40 inches. Call Judy at 492-4364. PRAYER SHAWLS - meet Wednesdays at 6:00 pm at Peters Pense - Call Cheryl at 492-9342. PRAYER QUILTS - keep sewing - Call Barb at 726-6334. DIRECTIONS for projects are on the connector bulletin board. Finished donations can be put in the bins in the connector. Next afternoon of service is March 14 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the K of C Hall.
