PART 16 Gupta house As shashank got ready, he sat in the balcony on his rocking chair to read newspaper.. he was disturbed by afew sounds.. when he stood up to see he saw AR AA nd RM in their track suits nd Armaan had ridhhima in his arms.. Without any next thought he came nd sat at the table for breakfast.. Anjali entered the house smiling nd happy.. kya baat hai beta..aaj subah subah kahan gayi thhi..? he behaved as if he hadnt seen her outside with the gang.. vo dad aaj hum sab basketball match ke liye gaye thhe.. kal raat ko Armaan aur Ridhhima ne match final kiya.. so me nd Atul in Ridzies team nd Rahul nd muski in Armaans.. you know they played on bet.. jo team jeeti the other teams captain has to follow the orders.. Padma came in with the breakfast.. she heard what anjali said nd asked arre wah.. to phir kaun jeeta..? Anjie first laughed at it nd answered ofcourse hum mom.. phir Ridzie ne armaan ko kaha ki vo thak gayi hai.. nd instead of jogging back home she wants Armaan to carry her.. aur bechara armaan bet ki vajah se usse court se ghar tak utha ke laya.. uska chehra dekhne layak thha mom.. she started to laugh again remembering Armaans constant bickering nd Ridhhimas teasing lines.. nd padma joined in too.. after a while Anjie asked Dad waise yeh Raaj kab vapas jayega..? suddenly taking interest he asked kyun beta.. kya hua..? no dad.. nothing much.. sirf pooch rahi thhi.. as if analysing something he said waise beta vo itna bura bhi nahi hai.. tumhe usse janne ki koshish karni chahiye.. vo bhi tumhe pasand karta hai.. Anjie in her usual attitude replied yeah right..whatever..he is nothing more than a collegue dad.. nd he will never ever be.. she left to get ready for Sanjeevni.. While in Mallik house Armaan carried Ridhhima to their room nd put her on the bed.. keeping her down he gave out a loud sigh of relief holding his back..while Ridhhima giggled at his state nd said tum lazy hogaye ho Armaan.. ur muscles have become stiff coz of lack of exercise.. in a teasing tone.. realising her tone Armaan replied ji nahi madam.. Im as fit as I used to be okay.. you know you dont have to make excuses if you want me to carry you often.. I mean directly bol do na.. yeh exercise ka bahana kyun.. now he was in a naughty mood.. vaise kyun na tumhari baat abhi se hi maani jaye..dekho main kitni baat manta hoon tumhari.. ab main tumhe utha kar bathroom mein lejaunga.. aur phir to tumhe pata hi hai.. he said moving towards her with a glint of naughtiness in his eyes while Ridhima was nervous that her teasing session has back fired, now she knew Armaan will not spare her.. so she started to move back to the other side of the bed nd got down.. now they were standing face to face nd bed was in between them.. they ran around the bed for sometime but then an idea struck Armaan nd he climbed the bed in between.. he caught her with her wrist nd pulled her hard such that she fell on him on the bed..As he rolled to pin her off under him she became shy when she saw passion in his eyes nd tried to free her self from his tight hold around her waist.. Armaan plz chodo.. main sirf mazaak kar rahi thhi.. plz Armaan.. he took no notice to any of her please nd kissed her lips soon his naughty nd teasing kiss turned into a passionate one as she aroused more passion in him by digging her hands in his hair.. She came back to her senses when she heard Arav calling her nd approaching their room.. she pushed him off her nd went to Arav.. The game is still on Mrs. Mallik.. she heard when she was at the door.. hiding her blush after the kiss she replied we will see.. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ The gang was sitting in the cafeteria chatting along nd having fun when atul said yar Armaan tumhare internship ke itne kisse sune hain.. I mean teri Ridz ki cat fight etc.. lekin ab to tum sirf romance hi karte ho yar.. thats boring yar.. ya guys.. youve become boring.. manaa ki you guys are in love nd married but still you should re-live old days too sometime.. Anjali added to which Armaan replied kaise dost ho yaar.. tum chahte ho ki hum ladai karein.. noways.. to which Ridhhima added ofcourse hum thodi ladenge Armaan.. kuch bhi ho we will never fight.. she said this thinking of a plan to get back at Armaan for mornings teasing session after kissing.. She then went to the ordering counter nd instructed the waiter to put lots of red chilli in Armaans coffee.. she knew he drinks black coffee so even the color will not change.. nd came back, sat quietly waiting for the waiter to get Armaans coffee.. when waiter came with the tray in front of Armaan suddenly Raaj came out of nowhere nd picked up the cup instead.. before anyone can react he sat on the other table with a winning smile.. when Armaan stood up to crack his jaw Ridhhima stopped him nd asked all of them to wait nd watch.. Soon enough they heard Raaj yelping on top of his voice while others laughed at this nd Armaan smiled thinking Hmm.. to basket is playing game now.. huhh.. thanks Raaj uss coffee ke liye.. nd now Mrs. Basket you are in trouble.. Armaan mallik se panga huh.. Armaan bribed a kid from childrens ward to help him in the plan.. he has planned to wet Ridhhima with icy cold water.. so he stood there in the corridor to signal the kid when to empty the bucket which hung from the ceiling nd the rope to pull it was in the kids hand.. When Armaan saw Ridhhima coming he signalled the kid for the action but to his bad luck the kid was Ridhhimas favourite.. as he saw Ridhhima he thought Arre Ridhhima didi to bohot achhi hain.. unhe koi kyun pareshaan karega.. target shayad next doctor hoga.. nd guess what the next doctor coming up was Raaj nd again before he knew he was targeted **SPLASH** He was standing there flabergasted.. shuddering with the cold water sweeping him all over.. he was fuming in anger standing in the corridor like a wet cat nd becoming a laughing stock of whole staff.. the gossips of him being yelling around in the caf were still not over nd here again he was in similar situation nd he didnt even had a clue about who did this as the kid also ran away .. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ After afew hours when armaan couldnt bear the distance from his love he grabbed the first opportunity nd pulled Ridhhima into the fire escape.. Armaan.. kya kar rahe ho.. kya chahiye.. Ridhhima asked at his sudden pull tum.. I want you.. kabse theek se mile bhi nai.. I was missing you.. he said pouting like a kid to which she smiled nd pulled his cheeks nd said Oh my baby.. I missed you too.. mujhe to laga thha ki subah ke baad aj koi romance nahi hoga.. she said teasingly to which he replied holding her tight around her waist aisa ho sakta hai kya..?.. main apni jaan se dur kaise reh sakta hoon..haan.. she smiled Haan lekin jab tumhari jaan tumhe pareshaan kare to tum kuch na karo aisa nahi hua aaj tak..vo coffee.. cut in between I know coffee main mrchi tumne mix karvayi thhi.. nd to get back I planned to wet you but again Raaj entered.. she was shocked at this.. What..you mean vo paani tumne raaj par..?..Armaan..tum.. both laughed as they recollected Raajs face after the incidents.. bechara raaj.. usse to pata bhi nahi ki vo kahan se phas gaya..but his reactions were HILARIOUS.. nd they laughed again.. Unknown to them Raaj was listening to them from the door as he followed Ridhhima when he saw her being pulled into the fire escape.. nd now he was angry.. he can go to any limit to get back to them.. nd his anger rose abit more when he saw them kissing eachother with love after apologising for TRYING to play pranks on eachother.. Ab dekhna Mrs. Ridhhima Armaan Mallik.. main tumhara vo haal karunga ke kisse se nazar nahi mila paogi tum.. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ later in the evening AR were at Sanjeevni at this hour after a long time.. they were just taking rounds when they saw a man in probably in his late forties trying to convince Raaj for something.. they went abit closer to see what was happening.. Please let me meet Dr.Mallik.. my wife really in bad condition Ive come all the way from London.. please.. the man pleaded Raaj while he smirked nd said Dr.Mallik is not the only doctor here.. nd he is just here for inspection.. hell not be treating your wife.. you understand.. How dare you talk to a patient like that Dr.Raaj.. whether I want to treat his wife or not thats my decision not yours so get going from here.. (he then turned to the patient nd said) Im Dr.Mallik.. how can I help you..? Raaj was fuming now at first from the coffee nd water incidents nd then from the insult he faced just now.. Dr.Armaan Mallik.. youre forgetting that this hospital is under Dr.Gupta so you cant perform any kind of surgeries or medications here as you dont work here.. Armaan has had enough now but before he could say anything Ridhhima said what he wanted to say Dr.Raaj Khurana.. this whole hospital nd even Dr.Gupta is working under Dr.Armaan right now.. So if you dont want any complaint against you in the medical board for misbehaving with patients then please leave from here.. nd lets do our work.. that was enough for Raaj to shut his mouth for the time nd go from ther while AR met the patient nd his family.. It was a case of brain tumour nd the tumour has started to grow around sixth month of the ladys pregnancy.. now she was now 8.5 months pregnant.. critical case.. but Armaan had a record in such cases, he has performed 7 such critical surgeries nd none of them was a failure.. thats because his mom died of brain tumour nd he never forgot that.. He became even more determined when he saw that the patient alreadt had a 9yr old son too who was crying seeing his mother in pain.. Next few days he has spent completely on reading case history nd researching for the case nd now was the time for the surgery.. He was nervous Dont be nervous Armaan.. I know youll do it.. di bhi hain na tumhare saath.. come on.. All the best.. nd Ridhhima gave him a final hug while going outside the OT.. Iside the OT the lady was still concious as she wanted to speak to the operating doctor first.. Doctor.. please whatever happens..plz save my baby.. she requested crying abit to which Armaan replied calmly Look mam saving your babys life is upto you.. the more youll cooperate the more will it be easier for the baby to survive.. your BP swings are gonna effect him the most.. well first operate you nd deliver the baby then after that well operate on your tumour coz if we do it before both you nd the baby are at risk.. but I assure you if you remain calm nd dont panic much the baby wil be fine nd then your operation will be easier too.. She was till not convinced Are you sure the baby will be okk..? trust me.. even Im a father nd I know how important it is for you.. now you just relax the nurse is giving you anesthesia.. he then turned to Anjali who was assissting him in this case Dr.Anjali.. baby ki position theek hai.. all we need is to minimise her blood loss or else shell be at risk.. realising his professional yet scared tone she said Okk.. Dr.Armaan.. I know well do it.. All the best.. As the operation started Ridhhima was also sitting with the interns in the observation room looking at Armaan nd encouraging him at times through the glass wall.. After the hard work of 6 hrs. the baby girl nd the patient were declared out of danger.. Armaan was so happy he immideately hugged anjie nd Ridhhima ran to congratulate them.. It was the day when Armaan has earned respect in Sanjeevni not only coz of his friendly nature but also for him being an efficient doctor.. he has performed a surgery successfully on a patient who was given last words by other doctors.. This was another slap on Raajs face who was cursing Armaan standing at distance nd looking at all the staff congratulating him nd the small boy cuddling to him nd ofcourse his Ridhhima by his side.. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ That night Shashank had to go to pune for some work so it was Padma nd anjie at gupta house nd the whole gang was resting at Mallik house when Ridhhima got a call from hospital saying a kid in childrens ward is unstable nd since he is very close to her it would be better if she is there.. she informed Armaan nd went to her car (yup.. Armaan has taught her driving nd many more things.. just wait nd watch..).. She had to walk abit as her car was parked outside Gupa house near Anjies car.. As she went to her car suddenly to hands grabbed her fiercely by her shoulders.. she cried in pain nd turned to see Raaj standing there.. He knew Shashank wasnt there so he had no chance of being caught.. he pushed her aginst the wall nd pulled her jacket off her.. Raaj..leave me.. she said in anger kabhi nahi..bohot himmat agayi hai na tum mein.. mujhpe haath uthaya.. mera mazaak banaya aur meri beizzati ki..ab dekho main kya haal karunga tumhara.. As he left her one hand nd tried to touch her face to his surprises he got a hard punch on his face.. he was shocked beyond his witts.. he expected Ridhhima to cry for help or plead him to forgive her but here she was fighting back.. he came back to reality when she again kicked him in his stomatch, he fell back on the windscreen of anjies car whose sensor started to beep aloud.. before Raaj could gather his senses nd run away, Anjali, Atul, Armaan nd Rahul were standing there.. looking at Ridhhima nd then at Raaj Armaan understood what might have happened.. he howled Raajs name nd started to hit him fiercely.. when Atul nd Rahul tried to stop him he pushed them out of his way.. he was ANGRY now.. Raaj tried to hurt HIS LOVE.. HIS LIFE.. how dare he.. understanding the situation when even Atul nd Rahul failed Ridhhima ran nd hugged him from behind muttering Armaan chodo usse.. vo marr jayega.. but he still continued to punch Raaj in his stomach.. whenever Raaj tried to fight back he gets a tighter punch from Armaan.. Ridhhima was worried if something happens to raaj then Arman will be in trouble but she finally manages to convince him.. Since all this has happened just outside gupta house Anjie got AR in there for their first aid.. At first they were hesitant but then agreed when she told them that Shashank was out of town.. Padma was stunned to see some bruises on Ridhhimas wrists nd her hand nd Armaans one arm bleeding.. when the first aid was done.. Padma demanded a clarification.. first Ridhhima told her side of the scene when Raaj trapped her nd she fought back.. nd before Armaan can start anjie jumped in you fought back ridzie..?.. but how..? she was surprised nd shocked as well Well Anjie maine tumse pehle bhi kaha thha ki aj ki Ridhhima mein aur teen saal pehle ki Ridhhima mein bohot farak hai.. Atul said yup.. hes right di.. Armaan ne mujhe self defence ki techniques sikhaye thhe.. coz kabhi kabhi mujhe raat ko Drona se akele ghar ana padta thha.. ridhima finally told them.. my my Ridzie.. ab to tujhse bachke rehan padega.. Anjie joked around nd rest of them smiled.. Padma was proud of Armaan for moulding her fragile daughter into a strong one.. this whole incident was kept away from Jai Malliks knowledge as this might lead him to know the truth about Gupta Family.. Raaj was not left in any such condition to even walk back in Sanjeevni so after a few days of treatment in some other hospital he went back to Delhi nd sent some other doctor in his place instead so that Dr.Gupta doesnt find out the truth..
