PART 7 We can only assume before there was a need for architecture...our homes were whatever the earth supplied naturally. Of course, our mere beginnings is that miracle sack of embryonic fluid within our mothers. Caves, dead trees, piles of hollowed out snow mounds and rocks were a necessity from the elements of weather and protection from the wild animals. In short, a mean of survival. As we evolved enough in each culture and our brain size increased to find ways to harness the raw materials that surrounded us. We began to form beliefs in our Gods. So architecture was born! It reflected our Gods, our strengths and skills. It became more of a protection and comfort with a statement of who we were as people. As the centuries past and our knowledge in materials, math and science grew, so did our skills to take architecture to a higher level of functionality, sustainability and art. To this day, we are inspired by nature, by those things that seem familiar and create those moods and purposes of our domains. From the beginnings to the ancients, to the necessities to the importance of Gods , To the statement of our powers and strengths to the statement of art and culture. And, finally to the current time where we move from reoccurring shapes in nature and the math behind them, onto the microscopic world of reoccurring geometry and where geometry turn into physics. Architecture is heading to the latest in this chain due to 3D printing and a better understanding of structure and functionality within nature and the microscopic world most of us we hardly see outside an image. So I offer you a brief journey through these stages and ask you to appreciate the photographers whose skills and vision bring us a greater appreciation of architecture. Today We as Designer, Architects and Engineers , enter into a UFC arena. Our teachers and professors were the Bruce Lees of the world and our defined skill sets are stronger like UFC fighters. We know more about design , architect and engineering as well as other areas that are bring some of us to the UFC status. Sound crazy? No, it is not. It is the direction the future is heading, so pay close attention! Kind Regards Deli
