PART THREE--Return flight. This is where it started getting epic. 10 hour flight Dallas to Amsterdam to begin this leg. I was crammed in window seat by a Dutch dude who was a complete ass. I had zero leg or foot room so I was in pain and misery pretty much through the entire flight. Guy never said one word to me. Any time I would open window to look out he would make a big show out of sticking a magazine up to block the sun from his little TV set or laptop. So I kept doing it. I had to ask him to move so I could get up and go to the restroom and he still never said a word, just sighed like it was the biggest sacrifice in the world he was making. When I came back, I stood over him, waiting for him to move, so I said excuse me. He looked at me a second then sighed again and got up grudgingly. Is it really so much to ask that I got out of my seat ONCE on a 10 hour flight? When we landed, he jumped up before the plane stopped and made sure he got ahead of everyone getting off, so this guy was just a real all-around winner. I said "Good riddance" out loud as he was walking away. Jerk.
