PART-TIME SCHOOL PHYSICIAN I* *High School* *Job Function: *Services the medical needs of students, faculty, staff and other school personnel and develops, implement and evaluate the overall health program of the school unit. *Duties and Responsibilities :* *1. *Attends to the medical needs of students, faculty and other employees of the school unit *2. *Renders emergency medical treatments as needed *3. *Conducts health examinations *4. *Helps organize and supervise the school clinic *5. *Coordinates with the school administrative officer concerned on matters involving the clinic and/ or the health program of the school unit. *6. *Conducts a continuing program in the dissemination of health information to students, parents and teachers. *7. *Assists and recommends to school administrators in the supervision of sanitation and safety of the school plant and in environmental control. Recommends timely measures such as; *8. *Cooperates with the Department of Health in the control and prevention of communicable diseases. *9. *Helps develop, implement and evaluate the overall health program of the school unit. *10. * Helps develop and implement an acceptable health program for employees. *11. * Represents the school unit and/or the University in seminars, conferences, conventions and other meetings affecting the school?s health program. *Qualifications: * 1. Doctor of Medicine preferably with specialization/had residency in Orthopedics 2. With two (2) years work experience preferably with background in a school and or/public health 3. Excellent interpersonal skills; good in dealing with students, faculty and parents Interested employees must write a letter of intent addressed to their supervisor/unit head and submit on or before 29 October 2014 to: Mrs. Mila R.
