PART TWO: As I said in Part ONE, the healing was done for me at that time in 1995. I put the recordings on the shelf along with the many other recordings of unfinished melodies, songs and compositions and went on with my life. Now its 2004. My life had taken new form in so many ways. I had just finished the coursework for a new profession as a Therapeutic Music Practitioner (musicpractitioner) and was involved in an internship. Throughout this time the 27 (!!) shelved tunes from the 1995 healing session from the verses of the Tikkun Haklali had been tickling, teasing and tugging at me. Finally I pulled the dusty cassette off the shelf and began to listen. I found myself intrigued. The songs were very pleasant, pleasing and yet so very different than most. I began to learn them, tweak them here and there and finally throw one or two out to an audience to catch a response. The feedback was all very positive. I continued to add more songs to the set list. I prayed for a few right musicians to appear who could give the songs more flavor, life and character. Frank Rudolph gave them a try on his fiddle/violin. And I met Aaron Tyne who played the oud and sitar. And Greg Reinauer, my nephews high school friend who was about to start his first year at Berklee School of Music. It fit just right. But I had to act fast - each musician was not going to be around for long. We booked some time at Chris Delrossis studio, The Cats Room in NH (now in Chelmsford, MA) and in a few days laid down the live tracks that became the first two discs of the 3-disc package, Tikkun.
