PAS lost in Pengkalan Kubor. Was it expected? Yes. Do I like the result? No. Am I dissapointed? I dont know. Did Selangor have anything to do with the overwhelming majority? I would say yes. I would say Selangor and the just ended Muktamar have a lot to do with the big majority that BN got. Look at the results. PAS lost every young people saluran. This is dangerous. In Bt Gelugor, Kajang and Teluk Intan, both DAP and PKR, despite DAPs narrow defeat in Teluk Intan, won all the young people saluran but why did PAS lose theirs in Pengkalan Kubor? The youngs are more idealistic and abhor traitors. They demand a more tolerant and less patronising stance by the ulamaks. They do not want ulamaks who spews out venom even on their own kinds, let alone calling them barua. PAS better take note. Please dont talk about voters being bought because it happened elsewhere also but why did the young ditch you this time? Dont blame PKR for not campaigning because they did, but of course with less passion. What do you expect? You step on them, stamp your feet on their faces, spit on them while they are down, call their leaders names an accuse their leader as weak and not able to lead and you expect them to hit the campaign trail with as much vigour and lust as a soldier just back from 3 months in the jungle with his naked wife spreading her legs? Come on get real. Oh by the way, you can say PKR supporters were not enthusiastic enough but what about the progressives within your ranks? Were they also campaigning like there was no tomorrow? Was Anwars absence also a factor for the bigger majority that BN got? Hadi wouldnt want to admit it but yes, Anwars absence did contribute to the result. PAS, be worried, be very worried.
