You dont need to be in the military to send this important message to your legislator. It concerns correcting the legislative bill in the House to align with the Senate bill to allow for crediting continuous active duty in two consecutive years rather than causing some soldiers to be denied the opportunity for earlier retirement because the continuous 90 days of active duty was not completed within the same creditable year. Think of it as being denied because the service was performed from November thru January rather than October thru December. A simple fix to an unnecessary problem for soldiers and the Pentagons budget. Thanks.
